Unplug After Normal Work Hours


If you work the 9-5, keep to that time even if you work remotely. After the work hour concludes, make time for yourself.

Also, if you are an entrepreneur, you should know the amount of time you are dedicating to your business. You don’t have to be on 24/7.


Dedicate certain days to yourself to not have to be on call.


You shouldn’t continue to obsess over emails or data 24/7.


Communicate What You’re Comfortable With To Others


In order to make sure that you have a normal work-life balance, make sure that the people around you know what is and is not okay.


If your boss has been communicating tasks with you late hours in the night and even weekends, communicate your feelings and concerns.


If you have clients that want your attention every second, communicate a schedule that works best for the both of you.


Spend Some Time Outside of the House


You can continue to practice safe practices such as social distancing while taking breaks outside of your home.


It’s good for you to take little breaks even if it just means that you go for a walk around the neighbourhood.


Plan your day with some activities that you can do while still remaining safe of course.


Practice Good Sleeping Hours


Don’t allow yourself to get consumed with work responsibilities or side hustle gigs that you remain up until late hours at night.


Having good rest is what enables you to function at your best for your work and also your family.
